The expression of STING in human dental pulp tissues and pulp cells

Abstract：AIM:To observe the expression of stimulator of interferon gene ( STING) in human dental pulp tissues and pulp cells .METHODS:The mRNA expression of STING in cultured human dental pulp cells was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction ( RT-PCR);and the STING protein expression in human dental pulp tissues was detected immunocytochemistry .RESULTS:The STING mRNA of was expressed in dental pulp cells .In dental pulp tissues , STING protein was expressed in the cytoplasm of odontoblasts .CONCLUSION: STING signal pathway may play a role in the innate immune responses of the dental pulp .
