Abstract：Surgicalendodontictherapyisoftenindicatedtosaveteethwhennonsurgicaltreatmentisunsuc-cessful to cure periapical periodontitis induced by the infected pulp.Root-end filling material is used to seal the cavity in the end of the root canal prepared during the surgery.Scientists pay more and more attention to the nature of this kind of materials.This article reviews the studies of new kind of root-end filling materials in recent years.
