The application of laser Doppler flowmetry in oral medicine

Abstract：Laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF)is a semi-quantitative method,which is objective,painless and noninvasive for the assessment of pulp vitality.In this review,the traditional pulpal vitality and sensibility test,LDF and its characteristics,the advantages and disadvantages of the methods and the prospect of LDF are described.
