Practice and insights on the pre-course of dental materials

Abstract：Pre-coursereformisanimportantpartof“FullTimeStomatologyCurriculumSystem”inour school.The pre-course of dental materials named “Basics of Dental Materials”has been introduced to first-year students in our school since 2002.For the past 10 years,we have put much emphasis in the content of the course,the teaching method and the evaluation of teaching effects.Our investigation showeds that students may learn the basic con-cepts of dental materials and their interests in the course can be greatly promoted by the curriculum design and arrange-ment of“Basics of Dental Materials”.
