Abstract：Dentinalfluidisthefluidexistingindentinaltubules.Itisregardedasanimportantsubstance in sustaining the homeostasis of dental pulp.Abnormal dentinal fluid movement is the pathological basis of dentin hy-persensitivity.Furthermore,dentinal fluid plays an important role in adhesion efficiency of dentin with dental restora-tive materials.This review summarizes its roles and underlining mechanisms on dentinal hypersensitivity and dentin ad-hesion based on recent research progress.
