Inferior alveolar nerve injury caused by root canal therapy

Abstract：Root canal therapy (RCT) is currently the best treatment used for dental pulp disease and peria-pical disease. Injury of the inferior alveolar nerve caused by RCT is a rare but serious complication. In this paper, the etiology and therapy of the inferior alveolar nerve injury caused by RCT are reviewed.
