The effects of mouse recombinant Periostin on adhesion and spreading of osteoblast
Abstract：AIM: To investigate the effects of mouse recombinant Periostin on adhesion and spread of osteoblast. METHODS: Solid-phase binding assay and MTT method were used to observe the ability of adhesion and spread of osteoblast on Periostin matrix. RESULTS: Adhesion and spread of osteoblast are very well on Periostin at dose of 20μg/ml or more (P<0.01) and the effects of Periostin are similar to FN. CONCLUSION: Periostin can promotes the adhesion and spread of osteoblast, but the mechanism needs further study.
