Effects of combination of rhBMP-2 and rhTGF-β1 on the proliferation of human dental pulp cells in vitro
Abstract：AIM: To study the effect of rhBMP-2 an d rh TGF-β1 on the proliferation of human dental pulp cells in vitro. METHODS: MTT metheod was used to determine the cell proliferaion u nder different concentration of the above factors. RESULTS: rh BMP-2 had no proliferating effect on human dental pulp cells, while rhTGF-β1 had proliferating effect on them at 1.0μg/L. When Those two growth factors o f diffe rent concentrations were used combinedly, showed no overlapping or offsetting ef fect on the HDP cell proliferation. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggested that rhBMP-2 and rhTGF-β1 didn't have overlap ping or offsetting effect on the HDP cell proliferation.
