The clinical observations about the effect of multiple calcium hydroxide and antibiotic reagent on the apexification

Abstract：AIM: To explore the effect of the paste of the mutiple calcium hydroxide and antibiotic reagent(MCHApaste) on the apexification. METHODS: 77 teeth with pulpitis and/or apicitis were collected, 45 teeth were treated with MCHA paste, 32 teeth were treated with calcium hydroxide. The effect of the treatment was followed. RESULTS: the clinical effect of MCHA paste was better than the calcium hydroxide. CONCLUSION: Calcium hydroxide with antibiotic could the used as reagents for the apexification.
