Negative effect on the proliferation of NIH3T3 fibroblasts by gene transfection of a truncated type Ⅱ receptor for BMPs Ⅱ
Abstract:AIM: To examine the effect of gene transfection of a truncated type Ⅱ receptor for BMPs Ⅱ on NIH3T3 cells. METHODS: The cDNA for a truncated BMP- 2 type Ⅱ receptor was transfected into NIH3T3 cells, and the biological behaviors of NIH3T3 cells were investigted. RESULTS: The transfected cells showed decreased proliferation ability and DNA synthesis. CONCLUSION: The gene transfection has a negative effect on the proliferation of NIH3T3 cells andDNA synthesis.
