The long term effects of Qiliqiangxin capsule on cardiac function and in stent restenosis in patients with acute myocar-dial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention

Abstract：Objective To observe the long term effect of Qiliqiangxin capsule in patients with acute myocardial in-farction(AMI). Methods A total of 153 patients with AMI in the Department of Cardiology of Xingtai 3rd Hospital between August 2014 and July 2016 were randomly divided into the observation group (77 cases) and the control group (76 cases), both groups were treated with standardized treatment of AMI. In addition to standard therapy, Qiliqiangxin capsule was re-ceived in observation group. The serum matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP 9), tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α), nitric oxide (NO) concentration,the occurrence dynamics of fQRS were compared. The left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD), left ventricular systolic function indicator (LVEF),interventricular septum dimensions (IVSd) and the occurrence dynamics of in-stent restenosis were also compared.Results There were statistically significant differences of the serum MMP 9,TNF-α,NO concentration after one year treatment between the two groups (t=3.034, t=3.050, t=2.871, P=0.005, P=0.005,P=0.008). There was no statistically significant differences of the detection rate of fQRS after one year treatment be-tween the two groups (χ2=1.467,P=0.099); There were statistically significant differences of the LVEF, IVSd after one year treatment between the two groups (t=4.150,t=1.995,P=0.000,P=0.041). There was no statistically significant differences of the LVEDD after one year treatment between the two groups(t=1.236,P= 0.304). Rates of in-stent resteno-sis was lower in the observation group than in the control group (χ2=4.899, P=0.045). Conclusion For patients with AMI after PCI,Qiliqiangxin capsule can further improve the heart function,and can reduce the occurrence of in-stent resteno-sis.
