Abstract:Objective To study the expression of inflammatory mediators and the significance of peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets in patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and vascular dementia (VD).Methods Sxity patients with vascular dementia enrolled in the department of neurology in the Fifth Hospital of Wuhan from September 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the simple group,60 patients with vascular dementia and impaired glucose tolerance were selected as the composite group, and 60 cases of healthy subjects were selected as the control group.Interleukin (IL),hypersensitive C reactive protein (hs-CRP) and peripheral blood T lymphocyte subsets of the three groups were measured. Results The levels of IL-2,IL-6,IL-17,IL-18 and hs-CRP in the three groups were significantly different (F =72.944,F =58.087,F =45.359,F=315.614,F =89.190,P < 0.05),and the level of patients in the composite group were highest. The CD3 +,CD4 +,CD8 +,CD4 +/CD8 + of the three groups were statistically significant(F =35.896,F =8.836,F =120.117,F =30.724,P < 0.05).The CD3 +,CD4+ and CD8 + t in the composite group were the lowest, and CD4 +/CD8 + was higher. The scores of MMSE and ADL in the composite group were negatively correlated with IL-2,IL-6,IL-17,IL-18,hs-CRP and CD4 +/CD8 + (P < 0.05),and positively correlated with CD3 +,CD4 + and CD8 + (P < 0.05).Conclusion The expression of inflammatory factors is high in the patients with vascular dementia, the expression of T lymphocyte subsets is decreased and the function is weakened. The symptoms of dementia in patients with impaired glucose tolerance are more serious, which suggesting that IL,hs-CRP,T lymphocyte subsets involved in the occurrence and development of vascular dementia and impaired glucose tolerance.
