Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of P53 and MDM-2 in lung cancer, and to analyze the association between P53,MDM-2 and clinicopathological features of lung cancer. Methods Seventy-four cases of lung cancer tissues and para-cancerous tissues were collected from January 2014 to December 2016 in our hospital.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of P53 and MDM-2 protein, and the expression of P53 and MDM-2 in lung cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were analyzed. The correlation between P53,MDM-2 and clinicopathological features of lung cancer was analyzed. Results The positive rate of P53 in lung cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(60.8% vs.18.9%,χ2=26.30,P=0.000);The positive rate of MDM-2 in lung cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(48.6% vs.20.3%,χ2=11.68,P=0.000);The positive rate of P53 in patients with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis(χ2=5.462,P=0.019);The positive rate of MDM-2 in patients with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that without lymph node metastasis(χ2=6.058,P=0.020);The positive rate of MDM-2 in patients with ≥3cm tumor size was significantly higher than that <3 cm tumor size(χ2=4.710,P=0.041);The positive rate of MDM-2 was statistically different in different stages(χ2=4.689,P=0.034).Conclusion MDM-2 and P53 are highly expressed in non-small cell lung cancer, and the expression level is associated with clinical symptoms, which is involved in the occurrence, growth, invasion and lymph node metastasis of non-small cell lung cancer.
