Abstract:Objective To analyze neonatal hyperbilirubinemia complicating cardiac damage and blood rheology. Methods From August 2013 to May 2015 in Department of Pediatrics of Huanggang Central Hospital,74 patients with hyperbilirubinemia were enrolled and divided into myocardial damage group (32 cases) and no myocardial damage group (42 cases), two groups of children received conventional electrocardiogram, myocardial enzymes and hemorheology. And the relationship between the disease and hemorheology were analyzed. Results All the children were cured and discharged. The levels of serum bilirubin, aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) in the myocardial damage group were significantly higher than those without myocardium (P<0.05).There were 8 cases(25.00%) of abnormal heart rate, 6 cases(18.75%) of abnormal T wave and 12 cases(37.50%) of ST-T wave abnormalities in myocardial damage group, which were significantly higher than those without myocardial damage group.high shear blood viscosity, low shear blood viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation index and plasma viscosity were higher in mycocardial damage group the no myocardial damage group(P<0.01).Bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, myocardial enzymes and hemorheological indexes were analyzed by using the data in this study. The results were as follows: direct bilirubin and bilirubin were positively correlated with the indexes (AST, LDH, CK-MB, hyper-viscosity whole blood viscosity, low shear whole blood viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation index and plasma viscosity) (P<0.05), but negatively correlated with erythrocyte deformation index (P<0.05).Conclusion It demonstrated that the hyperbilirubinemia complicated with myocardial damage of neonates were closely related to hemorheology.
