Effects of alveolar lavage with ambroxol on visfatin, PCT and CRP in patients with cerebral infarction and severe pulmonary infection

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage with ambroxol on visfatin, PCT and CRP in patients with cerebral infarction and severe pulmonary infection.Methods Ninety-four cases of patients with cerebral infarction and severe pulmonary infection in ICU were selected, who were treated in hospital from March 2015 to March 2016, and they were divided into the observation group (47 cases) and control group (47 cases).The patients of control group were treated with anti-infection, aerosol inhalation, postural drainage, nutritional support and other conventional treatment, and on the basis of the control group, the patients of observation group were treated with fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage with ambroxol.The patients of two groups were all treated for 14 weeks.The clinical symptoms improvement time, CPIS, NIHSS score and changes of the plasma liposomes, PCT, CRP, WBC, PaO2, SaO2, OI, Lac levels of two groups were compared.Results The levels of body temperature recovery time, mechanical ventilation time, atelectasis recovery time, improvement of respiratory failure time and length of stay of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=29.487,t=15.082,t=11.286,t=12.619,t=12.931,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000);the levels of plasma visfatin, PCT, CRP, WBC, Lac of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=4.092,t=9.394,t=12.807,t=13.379,t=4.957,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000);The levels of PaO2, SaO2, OI of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=5.571,t=3.566,t=13.245,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000);The levels of CPIS, NIHSS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(t=5.975,t=5.530,P=0.000,P=0.000).Conclusion With treating patients with cerebral infarction and severe pulmonary infection in ICU,fiber bronchoscopy alveolar lavage with ambroxol can reduce the inflammatory response, improve the levels of blood gas function indicators, and effective control of infection, which is conducive to the prognosis of patients, and worthy of clinical application.
