Effects of low molecular weight heparin on TNF-α, IL-6 and coagulation in patients with sepsis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of low molecular weight heparin on TNF-α, IL-6 and coagulation in patients with sepsis.Methods Ninety-six cases of patients with sepsis were selected as the research object, who were divided into observation group (48 cases) and control group (48 cases) according to the method of random number table.The patients of control group were treated with conventional therapy.On the basis of control group, the patients of observation group were treated with low molecular weight heparin (5 000 IU for subcutaneous injection, 2 times per day, the treatment was continued for 7 days).Recorded and compared the adverse reactions, the occurrence of MODS and changes of TNF-α, IL-6, CD62P, D dimer, Fib, PT, APTT, PLT, SOD, MDA levels and APACHE II scores of two groups.Results After the approximate treatment, TNF-α, IL-6, CD62P, D dimer, SOD, MDA levels and APACHE II scores of observation group were significantly lower than those of control group(t=8.617,t=7.444,t=4.966,t=10.786,t=7.580,t=8.617,t=4.093;P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.000), PLT levels of observation group were significantly higher than those of control group (t=4.611,P=0.000), but in the terms of PT, APTT, FIB, there were no significant difference between the two groups (t=0.339,t=1.009,t=1.229;P=0.367,P=0.158,P=0.111);There were hematuria, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, skin ecchymosis and other adverse reaction occurred in both two groups, but there were no significant difference between the two groups (χ2=1.435, χ2=0.947, χ2=2.192;P=0.231,P=0.331,P=0.139);The incidence of MODS in observation group were significantly lower than those of control group (χ2=4.444,P=0.035).Conclusion With treating sepsis, low molecular weight heparin can reduce the inflammatory response and improve the coagulation function of patients.It is safe, reliable, and conducive to the prognosis of patients.
