Abstract:Objective To observe the effect and mechanism of atorvastatin calcium on patients with cerebral atherosclerosis. Methods Ninety-eight cases of patients with cerebral atherosclerosis were selected, which were divided into the study group (49 cases) and control group (49 cases). The patients of control group were treated with conventional treatment, and on the basis of the control group, the patients of study group were treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets (oral, the initial dose of 20 mg / time, 1 time / day, (depending on the severity of the disease may be appropriate to adjust to 40 mg / day, renal dysfunction with the dose of 10 mg / time, 1 time / day) , after one month, the dose were adjusted to 10 mg / time, 1 time/ day). The patients of two groups were all treated for 6 months. Compare the clinical effect, adverse reactions and changes of the levels of blood fat, hemorheology, carotid IMT, vascular pulsatility index, arterial plaque of two groups. Results After the appropriate treatment, the levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, plasma viscosity, high plasma viscosity, low plasma viscosity cut of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group (t=3.403, t=1.912, t=4.768, t=4.597, t=6.278, t=2.908, P=0.000, P=0.029, P=0.000, P=0.000,P=0.000,P=0.002); The levels of HDL-C of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t=8.170,P=0.000); the levels of IMT, pulsatility index, arterial plaque area reduction degree of the study group were significantly lower than those of the control group (t=14.212,t=3.179,t=4.115,P=0.000,P=0.001,P=0.000); There were dyspepsia, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, elevated transaminase and other adverse reactions occurred in both two groups, but there were no statistically significant between the two groups(χ2=1.863, χ2=0.332, χ2=1.456, χ2=2.803, χ2=0.413,P=0.172, P=0.564, P=0.227, P=0.094, P=0.520).Conclusion With treating patients with cerebral atherosclerosis, statins can obtain the exact effect, effectively improve the levels of blood fat, delay the process of atherosclerosis, and it is also safe and effective.
