Abstract:Objective To investigate the etiologies and clinical characteristics of patients with chronic drug induced cholesteric liver disease .Methods The 34 patients who were diagnosed with chronic drug induced cholestasis liver injury in Beijing You'an Hospital between January 2011 and December 2013 were enrolled and 120 patients who were diagnosed chron-ic drug induced liver injury without cholestasis liver injury in the same period were chose as control .The clinical data were ret-rospectively analyzed .Results The chronic drug induced cholesteric liver diseases were mainly caused by traditional Chinese medicine (38.2%), health product or dietary supplement (14.7%), non-steroid anti-inflammatory drug (11.8%), antibiot-ics (8.8%) and anti-tuberculous (8.8%).Besides GGT and ALP, the serum ALT and AST levels were raised .The serum ALT and AST levels could return normal levels after treatment and the times were (46.7 ±24.5)d,(41.9 ±21.4)d,(35.8 ± 20.2)d and (40.3 ±22.6) d.Conclusion The patients with chronic drug induced cholesteric liver disease have clinical manifestations of liver inflammation and cholestasis .
