Clinical analysis of microsurgery combined with neuroendoscopy in cystic brain tumors

Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical curative effect of microsurgery combined with neuroendoscopy on cystic brain tumor .Methods From May 2012 to April 2016 , 86 cases of cystic brain tumors treated in our hospital were di-vided into observation group and control group by coin method (43 cases in each group).Microsurgery and microsurgery En-doscopic treatment were performed in the observation group , while the control group of patients using only microsurgical treat-ment, comparative analysis of two groups of patients with brain tumor resection were performed , and according to the two groups of patients with prognosis and score to determine the effect .Results The observation group total tumor resection in 38 cases (88.4%), which was higher than that of the control group of 30 cases (69.8%) (χ2 =4.497, P <0.05);the obser-vation group had no neurological dysfunction in 42 cases (97.7%), which was significantly higher than the control group in 36 cases (83.7%) (χ2 =4.962, P <0.05),the observation group had no cerebral ischemic imaging changes in 41 cases (95.3%),which was higher than the control group in 34 cases(79.1%)(χ2 =5.108, P <0.05).the complication rate of observation group was 4.7%, the recurrence rate was 2.3%, the fatality rate was 0, which was lower than the control group ’ s 18.6%, 14.0%, 9.3%, respectively (χ2 =4.074,χ2 =3.888,χ2 =4.195, P <0.05);The scores of Glasgow (GOS) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group ( U =4.58, P <0.05).Conclusion Microsurgery com-bined with neuroendoscopy can not only improve the rate of total resection of cystic brain tumor , but also can significantly re-duce the incidence of complications , recurrence and mortality .The clinical effect is remarkable .
