Kangfuyan capsule combined with five water and cefazolin sodium on inflammatory cytokines in chronic pelvic in-flammatory disease and blood rheology

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of Kangfuyan capsule combined with cefazolin sodium for five water and inflammatory cytokines of blood rheology in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.Methods From March 2014 to March 2016, 100 cases of CPI patients from the department of gynecology, Chinese Japanese friendship hospital of Jilin Uni-versity were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was treated with cefazolin sodium pent hydrate injection 2.0 g intravenously once a day for 14 days.On the basis of the treatment in control, the observation group was also administrated orally with Kangfuyan capsule 3 pieces twice a day for 14 days.All the patients received the treatment after their menstruation.The treatment course was 14 days in both group and the total research period consists of 3 continuous treatment courses.After the treatment, the total effective rate, the indices of hemorrheology such as the concentra-tion of plasma, high shear viscosity and low shear viscosity as well as cytokines such as IL-2, IL-10 and TNF-αwere compared between two groups.Results The total efficiency of the observation group was 88%, which was significantly higher than the control group 77% (χ2 =4.19, P =0.04); compared with before treatment, 2 groups of plasma viscosity and whole blood low shear viscosity /decreased significantly in control group (control group: t =9.76, t =11.78, t =17.28, P <0.05;ob-servation group: t =10.27, t =12.43, t =18.31, all P <0.05); compared with the control group, observation group, plas-ma viscosity and blood viscosity (low /high) were significantly decreased ( t =6.15, P <0.05; t =11.79, P <0.05; t =3.45, P <0.05).Compared with before treatment, the 2 groups after treatment cell IL-2 and IL-10 were significantly in-creased, TNF alpha were significantly decreased (control group: t =11.76, t =14.18, t =11.28, P <0.05;observation group: t =12.27, t =15.43, t =12.31, P <0.05), and the observation group was better than the control group ( t =3.99, t =5.79, t =9.14, P <0.05).Conclusion It demonstrated that the Kangfuyan capsule combined with five water cefazolin sodium on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease treatment is better than pure western medicine treatment.
