The research for the relativity of seroma TNF-αand circulating endothelial progenitor cell levels in the newborns de-livered from patients with pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome

Abstract：Objective To assess the relativity of seroma tumor necrosis factor ( TNF-α) and circulating endothelial progenitor cell ( EPC ) levels in the newborns delivered from the patients with pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome. Me thods From September 2014 to August 2015, twelve hospitalized newborns delivered from patients with pregnancy in-duced hypertension syndrome in the general hospital of Huabei oil field were selected as study objects ( observation group) , 12 newborns delivered from the normal pregnant women in the corresponding time period were choosed as the control group.The levels of plasma TNF-αand numbers of circulating EPCs were assessed in the two groups.And the peripheral blood mononu-clear cells were separated and cultured in vitro to obtain endothelial progenitor cells.The abilities of proliferate, adhesion, mi-gration of endothelial progenitor cells were assessed.Results The levels of plasma TNF-αwere increased significantly in the observation group, compared with that in the control group, while the number of circulating EPC decreased( t =2.68, t =1.68, P <0.05), and there was a significant negative correlation between the levels of plasma TNF-αand the number of cir-culating EPC in the observation group ( r =-0.78, P <0.05).Meanwhile, the proliferation, adhesion and migration abili-ties of EPC in the observation group were all decreased compared with those in the control group( t =5.23, t =2.58, t =3.59, P <0.05).Furthermore, there were all significant negative correlation between the levels of plasma TNF-αand the proliferation, adhesion and migration abilities of circulating EPC in the observation group ( r =-0.76, r =-0.81, r =-0.73,all P <0.05).Conclusion In the patients with pregnancy induced hypertension syndrome, high levels of inflamma-tory cytokines, including TNF-α, could get into body of fetus, result in the down regulation of EPC number and functions, and affect the normal function of vascular endothelium.
