Relation among the levels of serum adiponectin, 8 iso prostaglandin F2α, leptin and lung function in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases

Abstract：Objective To investigate the relationship between serum adiponectin, leptin ( LP) and urinary 8 iso prostaglanlin F2 alpha ( 8-iso-PGF2α) and pulmonary function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) in stable stage.Methods Choose from June 2014 to June 2015, 55 cases of stable COPD patients in Guangdong Province Yuebei people's Hospital as the observation group, compared with 55 cases of healthy volunteers as control group. The serum levels of adiponectin, LP and urine 8-iso-PGF2αin 2 groups were measured and the lung function was measured. Results Two groups of cholesterol, triglyceride glycerol, glucose, diastolic pressure, systolic blood pressure’ s difference were not statistically significant ( P >0.05);in observation group, the serum levels of adiponectin and LP levels were signifi-cantly lower than those in healthy control group, urinary 8-iso-PGF2αlevels were significantly higher than those in healthy control group ( P <0.05).I ~IV grade patients’pulmonary function:FEV1%, FEV1/FVC and serum levels of adiponectin and LP were gradually decreased, while the 8-iso-PGF2αlevels gradually increased, the differences were statistically signifi-cant ( P <0.05).8-iso-PGF2αand FEV1%, FVC%, FEV1/FVC showed negative correlation ( r =-0.687, r =-0.509, r =-0.731, P <0.05);serum adiponectin and FEV1%,FVC%,FEV1/FVC were positively correlated ( r =0.186, r =0.132, r =0.169, P <0.05);LP and FEV1%,FVC%,FEV1/FVC were positively correlated ( r =0.298, r =0.261, r =0.203, P <0.05).Conclusion The levels of serum adiponectin, LP and urine 8-iso-PGF2αwere closely related to the lung function, and the level of the three indices were strengthened during the treatment.
