The protective effect of budesonide cardiac function of pneumonia with respiratory distress syndrome

Abstract：Objective To investigate the cardiac function and clinical effect of budesonide cardiac function of pneu-monia with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS).Methods From October 2014 to October 2015, 64 patients with severe pneumonia complicated with RDS from Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, People’ s Hospital of Yichang City were selected,according to the random number table method were divided into the control group, the observation group with 32 cases in each group.The control group was treated with albuterol 2.5-5.0 mg +saline diluted intravenous injec-tion, the observation group also added budesonide endotracheal drops, comparative analyzed two groups of patients before and after treatment of respiratory function and cardiac function changes.Results Observation group’ s lung injury incidence rate was lower than the control group (3.12%vs.21.87%) and the probability of successful withdrawal of respiratoryassistant de-vices were higher than control group (87.50%vs.62.50%), and mechanical ventilation time short than that of the control group [(7.69 ±1.45) d vs.(10.48 ±2.32) d), the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05).Compared with before treatment, after treatment, 2 groups’ PaCO2 , PaO2 , SpO2 , pH, interventricular septal thickness ( IVST) , left ventric-ular shot ejection fraction ( LVEF) , left ventricular end diastolic diameter ( LVEDD) , left ventricular end systolic diameter ( LVESD) level were significantly improved ( P <0.05) and the observation group compared with the control group, the im-provement were more obvious ( P <0.05).Conclusion Salbutamol combined with budesonide can effectively improve the clinical therapeutic effect of severe pneumonia complicated with RDS, and protect the patient's heart and lung function, im-prove the prognosis of patients.
