The clinical evaluation of compound Xueshuantong capsule in patients with ischemic stroke and effect and neural function and serum PAK7,GFAP

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of compound Xueshuantong capsule on ischemic stroke and neurological function and serum level of recombinant human Parkinson's disease protein 7 (PARK7) and glial fiber acidic protein (GFAP) level.Methods Selected 120 cases of patients with ischemic stroke diagnosed by CT from June 2013 to June 2015 at depart-ment of neurology, Shiyan People's Hospital Affiliated Hubei Medical College, according to the random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group,on basis of routine treatment,control group was given aspirin 100 mg orally, once a day;observation group based on the therapy of control group, also given compound Xueshuantong capsule 1.5 g, 3 times a day and continued treatment for 4 weeks.The effects of 2 groups were compared and analyzed, the changes of serum PARK7 and GFAP levels before and after treatment were compared.Results The observation group’s total effective rate was 96.67%, which was higher than that of the control group (83.33%, P <0.05).After treat-ment, in the observation group, the FMA score, Barthel Index and SIS score (50.4 ±12.6, 62.1 ±9.1, 71.2 ±7.6 respec-tively) were significantly higher than that of the control group (38.1 ±9.0, 53.2 ±9.3, 62.1 ±5.8;t =8.742、7.651、10.502, P <0.05), and the scores of NIHSS (11.9 ±4.0) was significantly lower than that of the control group (15.0 ± 4.4, t =5.926, P <0.05), and PARK7 (14.3 ±2.2) μg/L, GFAP (4.9 ±1.3) ng/ml level were lower than that of the control group (25.3 ±4.6) μg/L, (8.4 ±2.5) ng/ml ( t =13.888,9.665, P <0.05).Conclusion It demonstrated that the compound Xueshuantong capsule for treatment of ischemic stroke ccould effectively improve the neurological function, re-duce the level of serum GFAP and PARK7, which is beneficial to the prognosis of patients.
