Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between cerebral infarction patient ’ s serum oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL), C-reactive protein (CRP), matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) and carotid artery elasticity index. Methods From 2015 January to December , 110 cases of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction ( ACI) patients were enrolled as ACI group, 90 cases of lacunar cerebral infarction (LACI) patients were enrolled as LACI group , and 100 cases healthy peo-ple enrolled as healthy control group , detected level of serum ox-LDL, CRP, MMP-9, carotid artery pressure strain elastic co-efficient (Ep), stiffness (β), compliance (AC), increase index (AI) and pulse wave velocity (PWVβ), and analyzed the correlation between these indices .Results (1) compared with the healthy control group , LACI group’ s Ep,β, AI, PWVβvalues were increased , MMP-9, ox-LDL, CRP levels were increased , AC were decreased , the difference were statistically sig-nificant ( P <0.01);compared with the LACI group, the ACI group’s Ep,β, AI, PWVβvalues were increased, MMP-9, ox-LDL, CRP levels were increased, AC was decreased, the difference were statistically significant ( P <0.01).There were no significant difference of TC, TG, FPG among different groups ( P >0.05).(2) Cerebral infarction paitents’ serum level of ox-LDL, CRP, MMP-9,β, PWVβwere positively correlated ( r =0.346, r =0.305, r =0.686, r =0.835, r =0.664, r =0.712, all P <0.01).Conclusion Cerebral infarction patients ’ ox-LDL, CRP, MMP-9,β, PWVβwere significantly correlated, these indices can be used as a sensitive indicator to early detect of arterial elasticity related diseaes .
