Protective effects of sodium phosphate for myocardial injury after carbon monoxide poisoning

Abstract：Objective To observe the protective effect of sodium phosphocreatine on myocardial injury of carbon monoxide poisoning .Methods Selected from January 2012 to June 2014 , 100 cases of carbon monoxide poisoning patients , according to random digital table method ,they were divided into observation group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases). In the control group , they were treated with conventional therapy , observation group also added sodium phosphate therapy .Be-fore and after treatment, levels of cardiac troponin (cTNI), myoglobin (MYO), creatine kinase (CK-MB), N-terminal brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) were detected in both of the two groups , ECG improvement and incidence of adverse reac-tions were compared between the two groups .Results Before treatment, 2 groups of patients’ serum cTNI, MYO, CK-MB, NT-proBNP level showed no statistical significance differences ( t =0.162, t =0.039, t =-0.041, t =-0.028, P >0.05); after the treatment, these indices of the two groups were significantly decreased , and patients in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group ( t =-2.974, t =-3.604, t =-3.051, t =-2.693, P <0.05).Obser-vation group’s total efficiency was 96.0%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group ’ s 84.0% (χ2 =4.000, P <0.05), observation group’s ECG improvement was 94.0%, which was significantly better than control group ’s 80.0%(χ2 =4.332, P <0.05).Conclusion Sodium phosphocreatine in the treatment of carbon monoxide poisoning can effectively decrease the levels of serum cTNI , MYO, CK-MB and NT-proBNP, better protect of myocardium from injury , it showed a significant effect with no adverse reaction , it is worth of clinical promotion .
