Clinical analysis of 24 cases of liver unplanned re-operation after operation

Abstract:Objective To investigate the causes of unplanned re-operation after liver surgery, and to reduce the inci-dence of unplanned re-operation after liver surgery.Methods Retrospective analysis from January 2009 to January 2015, 24 patients undergoing liver surgery encountered with unplanned reoperation’ s clinical data, through analysis the reason of un-planned reoperation to improve the precise liver surgery quality.Results In 24 cases after liver surgery with unplanned reop-eration patients, 16 cases involved complex liver resection and unplanned reoperation, accounted for 66.67%;unplanned reo-peration cured 21 cases (87.50%), 3 cases (12.50%) died;2 cases of medical disputes, accounted for 8.33%;24 pa-tients had the high cost of treatment;the average hospitalization time was extended for 7 to 14 days;significantly related with operation of unplanned reoperation in 21 cases (87.50%).The cause of the non-planned reoperation after liver operation mainly with the three reasons:bleeding, incision split or fat liquefaction, bile leakage.Conclusion Analysis for hepatic sur-gery unplanned reoperation has a positive significance in promoting liver precise surgery resection of liver.
