Abstract:Objective To summarize the clinical efficacy and safety of minimally invasive surgery in patients who were underwent the second cardiac surgery .Methods From 2012 June to 2015 February, in the second heart operation , 21 cases were completed the minimally invasive operation .There were 10 males, 11 females;the average age was (49.4 ±18.3) years old, the average body mass index (BMI) was (24.9 ±7.5) kg/m2.The second operation reasons were as follows:9 cases of mitral valve flap , 2 cases of aortic valve mechanical valve flap , 7 cases of tricuspid insufficient , 3 case of ventricular septal repair .All operations were performed under the femoral arteriovenous extracorporeal circulation .Results No patients were transferred to the traditional median sternotomy open chest operation .Operation time were (4.4 ±1.3) h, cardiopulmo-nary bypass time were (108.0 ±80.6) min, the beating heart surgery were completed in 16 cases, the other 5 cases after clamping the aorta surgery, intubation time were (24.7 ±12.3) h, ICU stay were (27.0 ±10.8) h, postoperative hospitali-zation time were (7.3 ±3.1) d;postoperative day 1 drainage were 784 (314~2 790) ml, no perioperative deaths, no obvi-ous complications. At the time of discharge, 12 cases were in cardiac function grade 1, 6 case in cardiac function grade 2, 2 cases in cardiac function grade 3,1 case in cardiac function grade 4.The follow-up period was (18.9 ±7.8) months, there were no significant adverse events during the follow-up period. Conclusion The effect of minimally invasive surgery in sec-ondary cardiac surgery in recent surgery is good , high operation safety for common second heart surgery;its small trauma , tho-racic simplified, revealed the characteristic of low complications and mortality rate .
