Protective effect of compound Danshen dripping pills on intervention after percutaneous coronary intervention in pa-tients with contrast agent in renal damage

Abstract：Objective To observe the protective effect of compound Danshen dripping pills on contrast agent kidney damage in patients with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) treatment.Methods From June 2013 to June 2014, 168 cases with acute coronary artery syndrome ( ACS) were randomly divided into 2 groups, the observation group and the control group (84 cases in each group), in the control group, patients were given conventional treatment, in the observation group, patients received routine treatment plus compound Danshen dripping pills, according to the results of coronary angiography to perform PCI, preoperative and postoperative serum creatinine ( Scr) , high sensitive C reactive protein ( hs-CRP) , intercellu-lar adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) levels were compared, and calculated the creatinine clearance rate (CCR).Results Be-fore intervention, 2 groups of patients’ SCr, CCr, hs-CRP and ICAM-1 levels had no significant difference ( P >0.05);af-ter 1 day, 2 groups’ SCr, hs-CRP and ICAM-1 levels were higher than that before surgery, CCr were significantly decreased ( P <0.05);2 days after operation, patients in the control group’ s SCr,hs-CRP, ICAM-1 is still higher than the preopera-tive level, CCr was still lower than that before operation ( P <0.05), patients in observation group’s level of serum hs-CRP, ICAM-1 were increased compared to the preoperative stage ( P <0.05) , SCr, CCr were significantly restored, no statistically significant difference were found ( P >0.05);after 7 days, 2 groups’ SCr, CCr, hs-CRP and ICAM-1 levels were restored, and these indices were close to the preoperative baseline level ( P >0.05).Compared to the control group, 1 and 2 days af-ter operatin, observation group’ s SCR, hs-CRP and ICAM-1 levels were decreased significantly, CCr was significantly in-creased, the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05, P <0.01), and postoperative 7 days’ difference had no significance ( P >0.05) .Conclusion PCI operation treated with compound Danshen dripping pills can significantly decrease the serum Scr, hs-CRP and and ICAM-1, and increase CCR, which relieve the impairment of renal function.
