Abstract:Objective To observe the relationship between serum gastrointestinal hormones, circulating blood RNA ( microRNA) and acute pancreatitis. Methods From 2013 June to 2014 May, acute pancreatitis patients with 70 cases were enrolled as the observation group, at the same period, 70 cases of healthy people were enrolled as healthy control group, ser-um gastrointestinal hormones and circulating microRNA levels were detected and compared between the two groups, and com-pared the difference and correlation among the mild, moderate, severe and most severity group. Results Serum GAS and va-soactive intestinal peptide (VIP) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the serum motilin (MTL) and cholecystokinin (CCK) were lower than that of control group, miR216a, miR155 and miR196a were higher than those in the control group, while miR-21 was lower than that of the control group, and the level of these indices in the mild moderate, severe, and most severity groups were significant difference ( P <0.05), the Logistic analysis showed that GAS, VIP, MTL, CCK, miR216a, miR155, miR196a, and miR-21 were closely correlated with acute pancreatitis ( P <0.05). Conclusion There is a close relationship between serum gastrointestinal hormones, circulating microRNA and acute pancrea-titis;they can be used as the basis for disease diagnosis and treatment.
