Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of cyclic heat perfusion chemotherapy on patients with advanced gastric cancer with peritoneal effusion .Methods From 2013 April to 2014 May, 110 cases of patients with advanced gastric cancer with peritoneal effusion were enrolled as the research object , they were randomly divided into control group ( n =56) and ob-servation group ( n =54 ) , the control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy , patients in the observation group u-sing coelom continued circulatory hyperthermia perfusion .Clinical therapeutic effect , improvement of life , and the incidence of adverse reaction were compared between the 2 groups. Results The observation group’s total effective rate was significantly higher than that of the control group patients (78.63%vs.55.36%, P <0.01,) and the observation group patients life quali-ty improvement rate was significantly higher than that of patients in the control group (59.26%vs.37.50%, P <0.05).The control group ’ s incidence of adverse reaction was 53 .57% ( 30/56 ) , the observation group was 51 .85% ( 28/54 ) , the differences between the 2 groups revealed no statistical significance ( P >0.05).Conclusion Coelom continued circulatory hyperthermia perfusion for advanced gastric cancer patients complicated with ascites can significantly improve the total efficien -cy and the quality of life in certain extent .
