Abstract:Objective To investigate the prognostic factors of radiofrequency ablation of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation . Methods Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation circumferential pulmonary vein ablation were performed in 68 patients, measured pa-tients'body mass index (BMI), P wave dispersion and left atrial volume index (LAVI) before ablation, according to follow-up results, patients were divided into successful group with 56 patients, recurrence group with 12 cases, analyze the differences of related indicators between two groups .Results BMI, P wave dispersion and LAVI in recurrence group were higher than in the success group, after circumferential pulmonary vein ablation , compared with before ablation, the P-wave dispersion and LAVI were significantly reduced in success group , and significantly less than the recurrence group , and these 2 indexes were revealed no significant changes in the recurrence group , Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that P -wave dispersion and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation is a risk factor LAVI circumferential pulmonary vein ablation recurrence (OR =1.263, 95% CI 1.018 -1.676; OR =6.372, 95% CI 3.268 -18.348, P <0.05, respectively). Conclusion P wave dispersion and LAVI are the recurrence factors in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation who received circumferential pulmonary vein ablation.
