Abstract:To follow the concept of"Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets",to promote the con-struction of Xizang as the ecological security barrier and the"integration of green development and prosperity",this paper takes the large-scale planting of Armeniaca sibirica forests in the Lhasa North-South Mountain Greening Proj-ect as the research subject to expore the paths for realizing ecological product value. It is found that the project has succesfully achived large-scale planting of Armeniaca sibirica and yieled siginificant ecological benefits. However, the exploration of economic value still remains in infancy, and their ecological advantages have not yet been fully transformed into livlihood benefits.Based on the theory of ecological resource capitalization,a diversified and inte-grated value realization path system of"planting-processing-marketing-tourism-carbon"has been constructed,spe-cifically including:consolidating the foundation of standardized planting;extending the deep processing industry chain for high-value-added products;promoting the deep integration of"Armeniaca sibirica plus"with cultural tour-ism;developing new rights and benefits of forestry carbon sinks and ecological compensation;strengthening the col-laborative support of policies, finance and taxation, which aims to achieve the transformation of Armeniaca sibirica forests from single ecological function to a multiple value system of"ecological improvement, economic efficiency and livelihood enhancement",providing theoretical basis and practical reference for the ecological protection and green prosperity on the Tibetan Plateau.
