Abstract:Alpine wetlands are critical zones for biodiversity conservation and plant resource reservoirs on the Qin-ghai-Xizang Plateau. However,a lack of baseline data hindered the accurate assessment of their ecological func-tions.The Naruo National Key Wetland,a typical glacial-lake-marsh complex ecosystem in the source region of the Nujiang River, has not yet been systematically investigated in terms of its flora. In this study,a systematic survey of wild plant resources in the wetland was conducted using a combination of line transect and quadrat methods. The re-sults revealed that a total of 406 species of wild vascular plants, belonging to 183 genera and 52 families were docu-mented.The flora exhibited significant temperate characteristics, with temperate elements accounting for 96.75%and 60.00%,respectively.The wetland hosted a variety of important resource plants, and 16 rare and protected wild vascular plant species were discovered. This study has clarified the plant resource baseline of Naruo wetland for the first time, filling the gap in the systematic survey data for this region, providing solid scientific basis for the sustain-able conservation and biodiversity management of the wetland.
