Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between age and incidence of pressure injuries among patients with traumatic brain injuries(TBI),thus providing reference for reducing their pressure injuries. Methods Using conve-nience sampling method,561 TBI patients admitted to ICU of an AAA hospital in Lhasa from 2022 to 2024 were se-lected as the study object. The basic information and disease-related data of TBI patients were collected via the hos-pital information system. The collected data underwent Pearson correlation analysis, univariate analysis and bivari-ate linear regression analysis. Results A total of 561 TBI patients completed baseline and follow-up assessments.Bivariate linear regression analysis revealed that age and Braden score were independent influencing factors for the incidence of pressure injuries among TBI patients, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Pressure injury indicator showed a positive correlation with age(r=0.142,P<0.001).Conclusion There is a positive correlation be-tween age and incidence of pressure injuries.among TBI patients.
