Abstract:Objective To provide a theoretical basis for the quality and safety of Potentilla anserina by determining and analyzing the trace elements in Potentilla anserina from different origins and conducting a health risk assessment. Methods Potentilla anserina was pretreated with microwave digestion using 65%nitric acid as the digestion system. The contents of 14 trace elements in Potentilla anserina from 5 different origins were determined based on ICP-MS/MS.Estimated Daily Intake(EDI),Target Hazard Quotient(THQ)and Cancer Risk(CR)models were further used to evaluate the human health risks. Results The correlation coefficient(r)of the standard curves for each determined element ranged from 0.9961 to1,with recovery rate from 67.57%to 110.79%and RSD value from 1.11%to5.59%.The residual contents of As,Cu,Pb and Cd elements were all within the range specified in the Chinese Pharmacopoe-ia.EDI,THQ and CR model assessments showed that the safety and carcinogenic risks caused by the residual heavy metal elements in Potentilla anserina from the five origins according to the recommended daily dosage were small. Conclusion This method is simple, rapid and highly sensitive and provide a certain scientific basis for the detection and risk assessment of trace elements on medical materials such as Potentilla anserina.
