Abstract:Ecological assets,as the foundation supporting regional economies and maintaining ecological balance, have long been a critical focus in the field of ecological conservation and management. As vital ecological conserva-tion areas in Yunnan Province,Malipo and Maguan Laojunshan Provincial Nature Reserves, requires accurate value assessment on their ecological assets to promote local sustainable development and formulate scientifically sound ecological conservation policies.Based on the resource survey data from Laojunshan and combining ecological as-set assessment theories and methods, this study conducts a comprehensive value assessment on the ecological as-sets in it.The results reveal that the total ecological asset value of Laojunshan amounts to 588.5952 million yuan, primarily composed of stock valueand flow value. The stock value includes natural resource value(190.7125 million yuan, dominated by forest resource)and natural product value(5.4768 million yuan, reflecting the reserve's signifi-cant achievements in forest resource conservation). The flow value comprises ecosystem service value, with biodiver-sity conservation(131.1041 million yuan)and water conservation(223.7258 million yuan)constituting the majority, highlighting their critical roles in the reserve's ecological assets. This study provides a scientific basis for the ecologi-cal asset management of Laojunshan Nature Reserve and serves as a valuable reference for similar studies.
