Abstract:Objective To compare the general hematological indicators of COVID-19 infection between plateau and plain areas,as well as the first and second infections of COVID-19,and to discuss the correlation between common serological indicators and severity of illness. Methods A total of 708 patients with positive nucleic acid tests who vis-ited the outpatient clinic of the hospital from December 2022 to July 2023 were collected. The patients were divided into mild and moderate-to-severe groups according to their conditions. The general clinical data and serological relat-ed indicators were compared after grouping, and the relevant factors affecting the classification were analyzed. Results There were statistically significant differences between the mild and the moderate-to-severe in terms of age, platelets, neutrophil ratio, and D-dimer.There were no statistically significant differences in altitude,ethnicity,num-ber of infections, gender, total number of white blood cells, monocytes, lymphocytes,CRP,PCT and NLR between the two groups. Conclusion Age,platelets, neutrophil ratio, and D-dimer are risk factors for severe disease in COV-ID-19 infection, and anticoagulation or antiplatelet therapy should be given as soon as possible.
