Analysis of the Results of Free Clinics for Local Farmers and Herdsmen Living in a Village in Nakchu City,Xizang

Abstract：Objective The purpose of the analysis is to understand the health status of local farmers and herdsmen living in a village in Nakchu City,and to provide a basis for the health department to manage the health of key popula-tions.Methods 203 local farmers and herdsmen living in a village received the free clinic from February 14 to 15,2023.The results were analyzed,mainly including blood oxygen saturation(SaO2),heart rate(HR),blood pressure(BP),and detailed medical history,life history and related physical examination these farmers and herdsmen took who reported clinical symptoms.At the same time,we make full use of past medical records to ensure the authenticity of the prevalence rate.Metrics are expressed as mean±standard deviation(x-±s)and counts as percentages(％).Chi-square test was used for numerological data,and the difference of P＜0.05 was statistically significant.Results The mean values of SaO2、HR、SBP、DBP were(83.76±4.94)％,(90.15±9.15)times/min,and(112.26±23.38)mmHg,(82.51±15.53)mmHg(1 mmHg ≈ 0.133 kPa),respectively.Among the 203 farmers and herdsmen,the prevalence of osteoarthritis accounted for 44.8％;The prevalence of chronic gastroenteritis and respiratory infections accounted for 25.2％and 24.6％,respectively;Hypertension and gallstones accounted for 10.3％;The prevalence of rickets was 8.8％;Headache,conjunctivitis and allergic diseases accounted for 4.9％,3.9％,and 3.4％,respectively.There were statistically significant differences between male and female groups for rickets(x2=6.70,P＜0.05),while there was no significant difference between other disease groups.Conclusion The prevalence of osteoarthritis,chronic gastroen-teritis and respiratory tract infections among local farmers and herdsmen living in a village in Nakchu City is relative-ly high,and they should pay more attention to their own health conditions.
