Abstract:With the economic and social development and global environmental changes,high-altitude mountainous areas are facing serious threats of biological invasion. This article analyzed the current research status of biological in-vasion in high-altitude mountainous areas of China by reviewing the Chinese Virtual Herbarium(CVH)and other lit-erature materials. The results showed that the invasive species recorded in high-altitude mountainous areas of China were mainly plant groups, mostly herbaceous, and were mainly found in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, however, there were issues such as lack of information on longitude, latitude, and population status. At present, the research on bio-logical invasion in high-altitude mountainous areas in China is still in its early stages, and it is urgent to strengthen the investigation of the ecological environment in high-altitude mountainous areas, grasp the distribution and impact of invasive alien species in high-altitude mountainous areas, and provide a scientific basis for the ecological and envi-ronmental protection of high-altitude mountainous areas.
