Abstract:Objective The aim of this study was to further explore the association between the mental health status of shelter workers and the incidence of hospital infection risk events. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 133 staff members who worked in our cabin hospital from August 2022 to December 2022.Their mental health sta-tus was assessed after four weeks ofin-cabin work, and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis(FMEA)team counted and assigned the risk events of nosocomial infection in the following 4 weeks. The samples were divided into high hospital infection risk event group(n=44)and low hospital infection risk event group(n=89)by the cut-off value de-termined by ROC curve. An independent sample t-test was conducted to compare the mental health status of shelter workers with the Chinese norm data.Logistic regression analysis was performed to explore the risk factors influenc-ing nosocomial infection events. The"rms"and pROC software packages establish and validate predition models that affect nosocomial infection events. Results There were no significant differences between the high and low hospital risk groups in terms of gender, age, work area, marital status, and type of personnel(P>0.05),while the mental health level was significantly worse(P<0.05).Conclusion The mental health status of cabin hospital staffs is related to the risk of nosocomial infection events, and positions with high requirements for nosocomial infection risk prevention and control should screen and intervene in the mental health status of staffs in a timely manner,so as to provide sup-port for more accurate management decisions.
