Abstract：Through investigation of the implementation effort of the ecological restoration projects of typical moun-tains,rivers,forests,fields,lakes,grasslands and sandes in the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River valley,open-pit mining,shrub and grassland degradation and soil desertification have been recognized as prominent ecologi-cal and environmental problems.Based on the nature-based solutions,four major engineering and technical measures,namely terrain and landform remodeling,soil matrix reconstruction,sand prevention and control,and vegetation resto-ration have been systematically sorted out and formed,which have certain reference and guiding significance for the implementation of ecological restoration projects related to mountains,rivers forests,fields,lakes,grasslands and sands in Xizang.
