Abstract：Objective To explore research hotspots and scientific frontiers in the field of Tibetan medicine,and to provide reference for follow-up research in this field.Methods Using CNKI and Web of science databases as the search objects,the literature published between 2003 and 2023 was selected for visual analysis with the help of CiteSpace software.Results In the past 20 years,the literature related to Tibetan medicine research has shown a rap-id growth trend,and the research on Tibetan medicine mainly focuses on chemical composition,content determina-tion,identification,quality standards,clinical efficacy/effect,and mechanism of action,etc.In recent years,the scien-tific frontiers of Tibetan medicine research have mainly focused on the study of clinical efficacy and effect content,and the study of the mechanism of action of drugs by means of network pharmacology,molecular docking,and intes-tinal flora.Conclusion Through the visual analysis of the knowledge structure in the field of Tibetan medicine re-search,this study reveals thehotspots and scientific frontiers of Tibetan medicine,which can provide reference and ideas for the development of related research.
