Abstract:Objective:To systematically evaluate the experiences of cancer recurrence fear among gynecological cancer patients, and to provide a theoretical basis for the construction of evidence-based support programs. Methods:Qualitative studies on the fear of cancer recurrence among gynecological cancer patients were retrieved from PubMed,EMbase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,and CBM.The search period was from the establishment of the databases to July 2025.The quality evaluation criteria for qualitative research of the Australian Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI)for evidence-based health care were adopted to evaluate the included literature, and the Meta-synthesis method was used for the integration and summarization of the results. Results:A total of 18 articles were included, and 77 research results were extracted, which were ultimately classified into 10 new categories and merged into 3 integrated results, including multidimensional manifestations, multiple triggering factors, and multiple coping strategies of cancer recurrence fear in gynecological cancer patients. Conclusion:Gynecological cancer patients have complex emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes in fear of cancer recurrence, which are influenced by multiple triggering factors.Medical staff should pay attention to the real experiences and needs of patients'fear of cancer recurrence, accurately identify, intervene and eliminate patients'uncertainty of recurrence, encourage them to bravely face the fear, and ultimately promote their adaptive psychological growth.
