Abstract:Objective:To construct an scale for benefit finding of menopausal syndrome patients, providing a scientific and objective tool for evaluating their benefit finding. Methods:Strictly following scale development guidelines,an initial item pool was formed through systematic literature review, qualitative interviews, and group meetings. The items were iteratively optimized using two rounds of Delphi expert consultation to ensure content validity. Results:The return rates of the two rounds of expert consultation questionnaires were 100.00%and 96.00%,respectively.The expert suggestion rates were 81.50%and 73.20%,respectively.The authority coefficients of the two rounds of expert consultation were 0.89 and 0.90,respectively.The Kendall's coefficients of the expert opinions for the two rounds of items were 0.144 and 0.099,respectively(P<0.01).The final assessment resulted in a 28-item scale for assessing the benefit finding of menopausal syndrome, including 4 dimensions:symptom management efficacy, sense of control over disease coping, social support and adjustment efficacy, and individual growth and development. Conclusions:The constructed scale for assessing the benefit finding of menopausal syndrom based on the Delphi method is reliable and scientific, which can serve as an objective assessment tool for evaluating the perceived benefits of menopausal syndrome.
