Abstract:Objective:To systematically search and evaluate risk prediction models for anesthesia emergence agitation(EA)in children, and provide a reference for clinical selection of appropriate risk assessment tools. Methods:We systematically searched EMbase,PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,CINAHL,CNKI,VIP,CBM,and Wanfang Data for studies on pediatric emergence agitation risk prediction models from database inception to May 1,2025.Researchers screened literature according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and independently performed data extraction and quality assessment using risk of bias assessment tools. Results:A total of 8 articles were included, involving 14 risk prediction models for anesthesia EA in children. The sample size ranged from 120 to 54 776 cases, and the AUC from 0.72 to 0.97.Common predictors in the included models included age, postoperative pain, and surgical procedure. The 8 studies showed good overall applicability, but all had a risk of bias. This risk primarily stemmed from factors such as small sample sizes, unreported processing of missing date, model selection, and model validation. Conclusion:The risk prediction models for anesthesia EA in children generally exhibits good applicability, calibration, and discrimination, but also has methodological limitations and a risk of bias.
