Abstract:Objective:To systematically review and evaluate risk prediction models for postoperative delirium in patients after total joint arthroplasty, with a view to provide references for clinicians to select and improve risk assessment tools. Methods:CNKI,WanFang Data,CBM,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase,Cochrane Library and CINAHL were searched from inception to August 1,2024.Two researchers independently screened literature, extracted data, and evaluated the quality of the included studies. Results:A total of 16 studies were included, with the AUC ranged from 0.790 to 0.992.The top 4 predictors of repeated reports were age, preoperative albumin,ASA grade, and intraoperative blood loss.Applicability of all studies was good but the risk of bias was high. Conclusion:Current evidence shows that the risk prediction model for postoperative delirium in patients after total joint arthroplasty is still in the exploratory stage. In the future, the development and validation of prospective, large sample and multi-center prediction model should be promoted, and gradually being promoted and applied to clinical practice.
