Evidence summary of self-management in patients with decompensated cirrhosis

Abstract:Objective:To search,evaluate and summarize the relevant evidence of self-management intervention in patients with decompensated cirrhosis,in order to provide a basis for clinical practice.Methods:The guidelines,clinical decision,expert consensuses,best practice,evidence summaries and systematic evaluations of self-management of patients with decompensated cirrhosis in websites and databases were retrieved.The quality evaluation and evidence extraction of the included literature were carried out to determine the level of evidence recommendation.Results:A total of 16 articles were included,including 7 guidelines,3 expert consensuses,3 clinical decisions,and 3 systematic reviews.A total of 40 pieces of evidence were summarized from 12 dimensions,self-assessment,planning,management principles,knowledge management,etiology management,tobacco and alcohol management,diet management,activity and weight management,adverse reaction management,monitoring and prevention,family collaborative management,and psychological management.Conclusion:The best evidence of self-management in patients with decompensated cirrhosis,which can provide an evidence-based basis for medical staff to standardize patient guidance and dynamically evaluate the management effect.
