Abstract:Objective:To systematically review and integrate qualitative studies on the shared medical appointment experience of diabetic patients, providing a reference basis for the clinical implementation and improvement of shared medical appointment. Methods:Qualitative studies on the shared medical appointment experience of diabetic patients were retrieved from PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase,Cochrane Library,CINAHL,MedLine,PsycINFO,CNKI,WanFang Data,VIP,and CBM.The search period was from the establishment of the databases to December 4,2024.The quality of the literature was evaluated using the Qualitative Research Quality Evaluation Criteria of the Joanna Briggs Institute(JBI)Evidence-Based Health Care Center(2016),and the results of the studies were summarized and integrated using the convergent integration method. Results:A total of 12 articles were included, and 45 research results were extracted and classified into 10 categories, which were summarized into 4 integrated results, namely experience evaluation of shared medical appointments, perceived benefits of shared medical appointments, perceived obstacles of shared medical appointments, and the demands and expectations for shared medical appointments. Conclusions:The participation of diabetic patients in shared medical appointments has achieved significant results in enhancing disease knowledge,self-management ability, and psychological state. However, the setup and content of shared medical appointments still need to be further optimized to improve the patient experience. At the same time, efforts should be made to strengthen talent cultivation, promote interdisciplinary cooperation, and rely on policy support and technological innovation to promote the high-quality development of shared medical appointments in China.
