Summary of the best evidence for dietary management in patients with hypertriglyceridemic acute pancreatitis

Abstract:Objective:To search for,evaluate and summarize the best evidence for dietary management in patients with hypertriglyceridemic acute pancreatitis,and to provide evidence-based basis for medical staff to carry out dietary management in patients with hypertriglyceridemic acute pancreatitis.Methods:Evidence on dietary management for patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis was retrieved from guideline websites,professional websites and domestic and foreign databases.The retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to August 1,2024.After the included guidelines and other types of literature were evaluated for quality by 4 and 2 researchers respectively,the evidence was extracted and summarized.Results:A total of 12 articles were included,including 2 clinical decision-making papers,6 guidelines,2 expert consensuses,1 systematic review,and 1 randomized controlled trial.A total of 20 best pieces of evidence were summarized in 5 aspects:dietary management goals,phased dietary patterns,individualized adjustment,monitoring and follow-up,and teamwork and education.Conclusion:The best evidence for dietary management in patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis summarized in this study is relatively scientific and comprehensive.Medical staff should select the best evidence in combination with the actual clinical situation and the wishes of patients and their families,so as to improve the prognosis of patients with hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis and enhance their clinical outcomes.
